Unfortunately, legal issues can affect everyone. And when a legal matter does arises, it often leaves a large and expensive wake.

Even something as simple as a traffic ticket can ruin one’s day and cost time and money to resolve. Imagine the time consumption, stress, emotion and cost of a larger legal issue such as a divorce, a bankruptcy or a criminal matter?

With Texas Legal Protection Plan, members have the peace of mind knowing that they are always protected with comprehensive benefits and qualified attorneys. Members have access to immediate advice and consultation, an online attorney database, and complete coverage from consultation through trial if necessary.

Why is it important to have legal coverage if I don’t currently have a legal need?

Just like medical and automobile insurance, if a matter unfolds, only current policy holders or members are protected. If you are not currently a TLPP member, should a legal matter arise, this legal matter is known as “pre-existing” and will not be covered by the Plan.

Why TLPP over other legal benefit plans?

Who wouldn’t want to be a member of the only legal benefit program created and endorsed by the State Bar of Texas, the very entity that licenses the attorneys in Texas? TLPP operates as a member driven nonprofit organization rather than as a sales quota or profit sharing company. TLPP has the most extensive network of participating attorneys, plus gives members the freedom to choose the attorney they wish to work with. TLPP educates its members on the importance of legal protection, actively partakes in benefit and enrollment meetings and events and works deligently to become familiar with the entire membership. Finally, TLPP has the most comprehensive benefit coverage available. So when a legal matter does arise, members are not left with fine print, loop holes, randomly assigned attorneys, lengthy waiting periods or hidden fees.

How can I have my employer offer the TLPP plan?
