History of TLPP

Texas Legal Protection Plan (TLPP) was created in 1972 by the State Bar of Texas and is regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance. It operates in compliance with all applicable provisions of state insurance laws and insurance department rules and regulations.

TLPP is a non-profit group legal insurance organization. We are engaged solely in the legal insurance business and for over 30 years we have been administering and servicing legal protection plans in a dedicated and professional manner. The individual and collective experience of our team of professionals assures our groups and panel attorneys that our legal plans will be administered and serviced quickly, fairly and inexpensively.
